Bleeding
Again come in immediately if your pet is bleeding badly from a wound. You should do your best to apply pressure to the area which is bleeding to stem the flow by holding a cloth over the bleeding area.
Do not use any disinfectants as they can cause more harm than good. A clean dry (or damp) cloth is absolutely fine.
Trust us when we say that we have yet to see a pet bleed to death - the body is wonderful at stopping haemorrhage and if you can help a little then everything should be fine.
